Cardiff - Antalya flights announced
A new service between Cardiff and Turkey will operate over the summer.
The Turkish airline Onur Air, along with UK tour operator Goldtrail Holidays will offer weekly flights between the Welsh capital and Antalya, starting on August 8th - operating for eight weeks after this date.
Passengers will be able to book just tickets for the service, as well as more traditional package tours.
A statement from the airport read: "Antalya has long claimed to be Turkey's leading tourism centre.
"A metropolitan city with international designer brand shopping as well as a selection of local traders, its narrow, winding streets lead to a picturesque harbour and small beach.
"Much larger beaches are easily reached just outside the main city area. The ancient ruins of Perge, Aspendos, and Athena are not too far away along with the amazing underground city of Cappadocia."
Other tour operators provide services from Cardiff to locations in Turkey, including Bodrum and Dalaman.
