Golf at midnight? Only in Iceland
Icelandair thinks that it has come up with a summer solution for the keen golfer from the UK who feels they never have enough time to perfect their swing.
Over the summer, the airline is offering people in the UK the chance to jet off to Iceland and indulge in a spot of midnight golf.
Because of its northern location, Iceland enjoys nearly 24 hours of sunlight every day over the summer months, meaning that golfers can get out on the green whenever they feel the need.
To allow UK golfers to experience the frankly surreal feeling of teeing off at 3.30 in the morning, Icelandair is offering a three-night golf break to the country, complete with return flights from Heathrow or Gatwick, accommodation at a three-star hotel and four rounds of golf at a host of courses.
The offer is valid between June 1st and September 30th and starts at just £539 per person.
Recently, Iceland has become one of the hottest tourist destinations in Europe, with visitors attracted to the rugged landscape, rich history and modern cities.
