Before you leave home ensure you know how much hand and checked-in luggage you are allowed and don't forget those all important passports.
Allowances differ so check with your airline before travelling to the airport.
Hand baggage must not be larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm, including wheels, handles and external pockets.
Liquids, gels, creams, sprays and other potions and lotions of more than 100ml/100g cannot be carried in hand luggage.
Liquids less than 100ml/100g are permitted, however they must be carried in a small transparent re-sealable plastic bag.

Large electrical items and laptops must be removed from your hand luggage and also screened separately.
And don't forget no sharp items allowed in your hand luggage.
At the airport
Arrive at the airport in plenty of time. Always allow more time than you think you need.
Check-in is usually two hours before departure.
Make sure you have everything you need ready for check-in (passports and tickets).
It is always a good idea to head straight to security after you have checked in.
Be prepared to have your bags searched or be body-searched. These searches are nothing to worry about and aim to ensure you and fellow passengers have a safe flight.
