This new production is also directed by Laurence Connor (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, School of Rock) with fantastic choreography by Joann M. Hunter.
The musical is set in Belleville, the most picturesque town in the history of the world, populated exclusively with gorgeous townsfolk. The only person refusing to live in the fairy tale is Cinderella, a loud-mouthed character that's dripping with disdain. Cinderella's oldest and only friend, Prince Sebastian, has suddenly become heir to the throne which provokes an unexpected spark into their relationship. With the Queen suddenly announcing a Royal Wedding, all looks lost for the maturing romance, until Cinderella meets The Godmother who can fix anything.

Cinderella The Musical - FAQs
What is Cinderella the musical about?
The brand-new musical Cinderella is set in Belleville, a place populated by townsfolk who stop at nothing to achieve perfection. Belleville is a fairy tale come to life and maintaining this façade is taken very seriously indeed. The only person steadfastly refusing to live in the fairy tale is Cinderella, who is more likely to roast Hansel and Gretel for dinner than play the demure and downtrodden maid. It's clear the desperation to escape the loneliness that comes with being the town pariah is wearing on Cinderella.
Cinderella's only friend, Prince Sebastian, has suddenly become the heir to the throne after the mysterious disappearance of his elder brother, Prince Charming. Suddenly thrust into the spotlight, the formerly shy Sebastian seems to be quickly growing into his brother's enormous britches, and out of his friendship with Cinderella. But this change of circumstances also introduces a new spark to the relationship suggesting they mean more to one another than they're willing to let on.
After a devastating PR disaster for Belleville, and with the threat of the guillotine glinting on the horizon, the Queen decides that the only thing to save the town (and herself) is a Royal Wedding. All looks lost for the blossoming romance, until Cinderella meets The Godmother who can fix any problem.
