Malta flights from Manchester
GB Airways has unveiled it winter schedule and it includes a new route between Manchester and Malta.
The British Airways franchise partner revealed that it would offer flights three times a week between Manchester and Malta as part of its winter programme.
Furthermore, the airline said that it would be offer several services to Morocco. These include a twice-weekly non-stop flight to Fez from Heathrow and three daily flights to Marrakech - one from Gatwick and two from Heathrow.
In total, GB Airways will offer scheduled flights to 18 destinations, including several popular winter sun destinations like Hurghada and Sharm El Sheik in Egypt.
"This winter we refocus on our core routes into North Africa and winter sunspots," explained Alan McIntrye, commercial director GB Airways.
"Flights to Fez started two years ago and this year should see more people choosing to visit the lesser-known city whilst Marrakech builds on its position as number one tourist city in Morocco.
"In Manchester, the winter service to Malta we hope to see a boost to tourism in Malta during the quieter months and it gives our customers in the north-west another destination to choose from."
