BA changes winter schedule

British Airways has released details of its winter 2009 schedule, featuring a host of additional services to a number of popular destinations as well as new routes.

Richard Tams, head of UK & Ireland sales, said: "We have some exciting new routes in our winter schedule and extra services to popular sun spots like the Caribbean. With our all inclusive competitive fares including complimentary check-in, baggage allowance and refreshments on board, there has never been a better time to fly."

Additional services will operate from Gatwick to Bermuda (from five to six per week), Barbados (from nine to ten per week), and St Lucia and Port of Spain (from three to five per week).

Other changes include British Airways flights to Pisa, Malaga and Gibraltar operating from Heathrow and not Gatwick; flights to Alicante, Palma, Malta, Madrid, Barcelona and Krakow ceasing to operate from Gatwick; the number of flights from Heathrow to Barcelona increasing to seven per day; and flights from Heathrow to Krakow increasing to four per day.
