Heathrow Express gets Wi-Fi

Heading off on holiday from Heathrow? Want to check your email before you jet off to sunny beaches? Now you can as T-Mobile's Wi-Fi HotSpot service is now available on all Heathrow Express trains.

Supported by a wireless mobile network designed and installed by Nomad Digital, the Wi-Fi HotSpot service will provide passengers with a typical broadband speed of 2 Mbps throughout the entire journey - even through the 6km tunnel.

The Heathrow Express transports approximately 15,000 passengers daily. The new Wi-Fi HotSpot service means that all passengers can use their journey time more productively and can continue to use the service when they arrive at the Airport or at Central London locations including Starbucks coffee shops, Borders book stores and selected hotels.

Brian Raven, Managing Director at Heathrow Express stated that the Wi-Fi service "further improves the experience we offer and illustrates why we've been voted the nation's favourite train company."
