Riders Spruce up their skills in Canada

Some of the world's best horse riders and fans of equestrianism from all over the globe will be descending on Calgary, Canada this week for the Spruce Meadows Masters Tournament.
The event will run until September 9th and offers over $2 million (£990,000) in prize money.
As well as welcoming some of the world's best horses and riders, the Masters Tournament will also host such events as a Battle of the Breeds contest and a Spruce Meadows Prairie Dogs show.
Spruce Meadows is located on the southern limits of the city of Calgary, around 45 minutes from the airport, meaning that some visitors may be interested in car hire services.
Calgary is located in the foothills of Canada's Rocky Mountains and is popular with travellers owing to the variety of experiences it offers.
It has the characteristics of a modern, cosmopolitan city with over one million inhabitants but also offers a range of outdoor pursuits and opportunities for adventure.
