East Midlands Airport Improvements

If you are flying from Nottingham East Midlands Airport in the near future expect to see a marked difference in the catering on offer. The airport has recently received a significant improvement to it's
departure lounge and now East midlands Airport intends to make further improvements to the terminal and the whole passenger experience.

A new new catering company 'Alpha Retail' will be responsible for the largest food hall at the Castle Donington site - The result will be a broader selection of hot meals - a wok station, omelette bar, salads and deli counter.

During the autumn / winter period a waiter service restaurant will open in the Departure Lounge.

Costa Coffee has recently opened in the arrivals area of the Airport - offering a whole range of Paninis, sandwiches, pastries and hot and cold drinks.

Back in the spring, a new bar, executive lounge, two new shops and brand new seating and flooring were introduced. The Servisair executive lounge includes newspapers, alcoholic beverages, snacks, teas and coffee and internet facilities.
