New deal from Icelandair
Icelandair is offering holidaymakers from the UK the chance to explore the fascinating country this summer at a bargain price.
A new deal from the airline means that passengers can book the company's Summer Sizzler deal for just £319 per person until the end of July - saving over 25 per cent on the listed price.
For this, holidaymakers will get return flights to Iceland from either Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and two nights bed and breakfast accommodation in a four-star hotel in historic Reykjavik.
July is the perfect time to visit Iceland as the temperatures are balmy and the country's northern location means that holidaymakers can enjoy the unique experience of nearly 24-hours of sun every day.
The Lonely Planet describes Iceland's capital thus: "Reykjavik boasts all the trappings of a modern European city, dusted over with eccentric Icelandic spirit.
"Thriving cafes, high-energy pubs and clubs, and a brightly coloured old town with rows of wood-and-corrugated-tin houses cluster together in the compact city centre."
For people looking for a more active Icelandic break, the airline is still offering its Midnight Sun Golfing package for £539 per person. This again includes flights and accommodation, as well as four rounds of golf at some of the country's premier courses.
