More ski flights from Jet2
Low-cost carrier Jet2 has announced that it will offer more flights from Leeds Bradford Airport to Geneva this winter to accommodate the ski demand.
The airline revealed that it will add three more weekly flights between the two cities, bringing the total to 11.
In addition, Jet2 said that it has upgraded the aircraft used on its Geneva and Chambery services. Now the airline will use 238-seat Boeing 757s - which means that 90 more seats will be available on every flight.
A statement from the airline said: "Yorkshire ski fans are already dusting down their ski jackets and delving for their goggles in anticipation, with our latest news of more flights than ever to the slopes from Leeds Bradford.
"Our ski flights have snowballed and we now offer a staggering 10,000 seats a week to the slopes from Leeds Bradford this winter, with over 5,000 of these being to the Alps, with access through the ski lovers' favourites of Geneva and Chambery."
Jet2 offers flights from five UK hubs to 34 destinations in the UK and 12 countries in Europe.
