Go camping in Florida

Camping holiday specialist Keycamp is offering camping holidays in Florida for the first time next year, as well as holidays in treehouses.

Keycamp specialises in camping holidays in France and Spain but is branching out to one of the most popular overseas destinations for Brits - Florida - next year. Keycamp will be offering campsites in Kissimmee near Orlando, Madeira Beach in St Petersburg, Marco Island near Naples on the Gulf coast, and Sugarloaf Key in the Florida Keys.

Holidaymakers to Florida will be able to choose between car hire and campsite accommodation, or hiring one of the icons of the American highway, a motorhome. Prices for 7 nights at Madeira Beach and Marco Island start at £300 in May, while Kissimmee starts at £440 for 7 nights in June, and prices at Sugarloaf Key begin at £475 in May.

Keycamp claims to be the first tour operator in the UK to offer holidays in treehouses. The treehouses at three campsites in France are built around a tree trunk and offer two sleeping areas with a double bed and four singles. A 5 night stay at a treehouse for 2 adults and four children including ferry crossings starts at £434 at one of the most popular campsites, Chateau des Ormes in Brittany.

Spa breaks are also being offered by Keycamp at campsites in France, Slovenia and Austria. The campsites, including Berny Riviere in Paris, Le Ruisseau in Biarritz, Ljubljana in Slovenia, and Zell am See in Austria, all offer spa facilities including saunas and jacuzzis.

New from Keycamp are apartment resorts in France, Spain and Italy. The resorts offer a range of activities such as circus school, fencing and magic.
