Leading airline British Airways came away from the inaugural Holiday Extras Customers' Awards with a number of accolades, scooping the top award for most recommended airline for travellers with a disability and runner up prizes for best airline and most recommended airline for travelling with babies.

Operating from its London Heathrow base, British Airways today carries more than 33 million passengers annually to 148 worldwide destinations. Its vast fleet, one of Europe's largest, means that the airline's consistent growth and continued expansion of flight routes caters to the demands of its discerning clientele. On being recognised for its service to disabled travellers and those travelling with babies at the Holiday Extras Customers' Awards, British Airways' determination to exceed expectations has been valued by the 18,000 customers that voted.
