New easyJet flights from Gatwick

Low fares airline easyJet is launching new flights from Gatwick airport to Lyon and Helsinki this winter.

The new routes are the latest to be announced for easyJet’s winter schedule. Flights to Lyon in France begin on 3rd October with fares from £25.99 one way. The new flights to Helsinki will commence on 3rd November and prices start from £32.99 one way.

As well as new winter flights from Gatwick airport, easyJet has also announced its new winter programme from Luton airport. “Back by popular demand” says the airline are flights to Turin in Italy and Grenoble in Switzerland. The return of these flights is good news for people looking to take ski holidays this winter.

Flights to Turin start on 12th December, with fares from £29.99 one way. Flights to Grenoble begin a day later on 13th December and prices are from £27.99 one way.

Seats for all easyJet’s winter flights from 3rd November until 28th March 2009 are now on sale. Fares on domestic flights start from £19.99 one way, while fares to European destinations are priced from £21.99 one way including taxes.

Earlier this month easyJet also announced new flights from Manchester airport for the winter season. The airport gets new routes to Geneva in Switzerland and Sofia in Bulgaria, both suitable for those in search of skiing or snowboarding holidays.

On 4th July easyJet launched another new route from Gatwick airport, its largest base. The four times weekly service to the French coastal town of Biarritz costs from £25.99 one way. As well as beautiful beaches and great surf, Biarritz also makes a good base for exploring the south west of France and the Basque country.
