Most Recommended Airline for Travelling with Babies

Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus has been named a finalist in the Most Recommended Airline for Travelling with Babies category at the HolidayExtras.com Customers' Awards 2010.

From its humble beginnings in the 1930s as a government-founded airline offering routes to and from Ireland, Aer Lingus has evolved into Ireland's favourite airline, providing flights to a range of destinations throughout Europe and beyond.

"The staff are always very attentive to parents with young children."

Following floatation on the Dublin and London Stock Exchanges in 2006, the majority shareholders in Aer Lingus became Ryanair and the Government of Ireland. This move raised €400 million in equity to support the growth of the airline.

In 2008, the airline flew more than 10 million passengers to its varied range of destinations. At present, Aer Lingus operates flights to over 80 destinations throughout Europe, as well as flights to a number of North American destinations including Boston, Chicago, New York and Orlando.
