Virgin Atlantic has been named a finalist in the Most Recommended Airline for Travellers with a Disability category at the HolidayExtras.com Customers' Awards 2010.

Virgin Atlantic is a British airline owned by the Virgin Group. It currently flies to destinations in Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, the Middle East and the Caribbean. The inaugural flight of Virgin Atlantic aircraft took place in 1984 between Gatwick and Newark.

Virgin Atlantic offers a range of services and assistance for passengers travelling with a disability on its flights. These include assistance when moving from seat to seat, opening and identifying food, assistance with the on-board wheelchair, assistance with the on-board lavatory, and help retrieving and placing luggage in overhead lockers.
