Best Airline for Value for Money

Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus, one of Ireland's biggest low-cost airlines, is one of five finalists in the Best Airline for Value for Money category at the HolidayExtras.com Customers' Awards 2010.

Founded by the Irish Government, Aer Lingus has been operating flights to and from Ireland since 1936. Since its first flight from Dublin to Bristol, Aer Lingus has expanded its range of destinations to encompass popular European hotspots such as Spain, France, Germany, Italy and more. The airline also operates flights from Dublin and Shannon to long_haul destinations such as Boston, Chicago and New York.

"Top class. Would fly with them again and would recommend."

Offering two levels of cabin class - economy for short-haul routes and economy and business class for long haul routes - means customers can enjoy Aer Lingus' friendly service at a price that suits their budget. The airline keeps the cost down for its passengers by offering one way fares. This also means it utilises the fleet efficiently and strengthens the brand across Europe and other parts of the world.

Aer Lingus now employs more than 4,000 staff and, in 2008, the airline flew 10 million passengers. With an ever-growing network of routes and the dedication of the Aer Lingus team, it's clear why the airline has been named a finalist at the HolidayExtras.com Customers' Awards 2010.
