Best Airline Cabin Crew

easyJet

Winner of last year's Best Airline Cabin Crew award, easyJet has been named runner-up in the same category at the HolidayExtras.com Customers' Awards 2010.

In March 1995, Sir Stelios Haji-loannou spotted a gap in the market for low-cost air travel. He founded easyJet and became the world's youngest international scheduled airline chairman. easyLand - easyJet's first home - opened at London Luton airport in October 1995, and its first flights from Luton to Glasgow and Edinburgh began in November the same year.

"Excellent crew, informative and friendly."

Since then, easyJet has expanded massively. The airline now operates more than 500 routes and has 182 aircraft in 28 countries. Well known for its bright orange branding, easyJet has more than 6,000 staff including 1,800 pilots and 3,300 cabin crew. Last year alone, easyJet flew over 46 million passengers.

As Europe's leading low-fares airline, easyJet has radically changed the way people travel in Europe. Their low-cost flights, high standards of care and convenience have got them to where they are today - the number one airline at Gatwick, Milan and Geneva.
