easyJet launch new flights

Starting in 2009 easyJet will be starting four new flights to European locations to bring its total number of routes from the London airport up to 71.

The new flights will be taking British holidaymakers to locations in Croatia, Cyprus, Italy and Greece. Flights to Larnaca and Dubrovnik will fly four times a week, Santorini three times a week and Naples will depart daily.

The new flights give a wider depth of choice when flying to the continent and increase the options available for easyJet passengers heading on European holidays. easyJet currently offer 383 flights to 27 countries, carrying 44 million passengers a year.

David Osborne, easyJet’s regional general manager for the UK said, “With our summer 2009 flights also now on sale there has never been a better time to make sure you book summer early and save big. Today’s announcement will further strengthen our position at Gatwick; which is our biggest single airport base."
