Purple parking was great - I have already booked again for January but the Premier Plaza Lounge Champagne Special was a fiasco. They had no champagne, they had run out they said, no chardonnay, the water dispenser was not in use, the wi-fi didn't work - a member of staff loaned me his phone to order food as the app wasn't working. After half an hour they brought the main course before the starter then came out with a pad and pen to re-take the order. When the soup eventually came, it was cold so we sent it back, mains was fine but when it came to dessert they had run out of cheesecake. When we ordered a gin and tonic they had no lemon and had to send out for some. I could have understood if it was busy but there were only a bout a dozen people in the lounge. I will never use this lounge again and as I paid a premium price for a significantly inferior service and did not even get the package I booked feel cheated and victim of a scam.

Very friendly helpful staff throughout. Both in the office and on the buses. Absolutely no problems at all, we have used APH several times in the past and hope to continue to do so in the future. A good price for parking,regular buses to the airport and prompt pick up on return.

The collect and return car parking company were excellent, particularly since it was the road closures causing me to have problems. Plus the nightmare of Wuhan virus inside Gatwick North terminal. The car parking company rescued me. The staff were very helpful and looked after little car protecting from all those German tanks people drive these days. They were quick and efficient, I could not have asked more off them

We chose the Purple Parking Meet and Greet Service because we wanted to minimise time spent travelling (with others) between car park and airport, and to ensure a prompt get-away after a late night landing. The instructions all seemed very clear: they had clearly changed since we originally booked (nearly two years ago!) but the current system - utilising the Sofitel car park - seemed perfectly sensible and convenient. However, the instructions that I downloaded and printed off only a couple of days before departure were not in fact up to date. In particular, when - as instructed - we phoned the relevant number after collecting our luggage on our return it just rang and rang. We made our way to the Meet and Greet reception but when we mentioned that the call had been unanswered we were told rather rudely that it was unnecessary to phone and that customers had been advised not to (apparently by means of a small notice sellotaped to the screen at the reception).

I would not use helpmepark at Gatwick again. I am a frequent user of meet and greet services at Gatwick. Drop off was fine. Firstly when I called I was placed on a a ten minute hold until I could get through. In addition despite phoning immediately after passport control we were waiting 1 hr for our car to be returned in the freezing cold. Not great when you have young children. It would have been quicker and less stressful to use a park and ride service. In addition while we were waiting I tried to get back in touch with them as the line was constantly engaged.

The car park staff told us that they would have our car ready within 15 - 20 mins, after 30 mins I phoned them again and they told us that they where trying to get our car to us and would contact us as soon as they had it. After an hour I contacted them back and was told that they where really sorry but where unable to find the car key. They asked for our address as they where going to get a taxi to take us home. After about 1 and a half hours we received another phone call and told us that they had now found the car keys and they would be with us 10 mins. The whole process took about 2 hours. We were tired and cold and had 3 children, a wheelchair and 10 suitcases. It is the first time we have used this carpark, but it unfortunately be our last.
