The National Air Traffic Services (NATS) released the following statement at 10am on May 26, 2011:

"No high density ash is currently predicted to affect UK airspace. If the situation changes, updates will resume."

We recommend checking with your airline for details of whether your flight has been cancelled or delayed.

Cancelling your booking with

If you're affected by the volcanic ash, use the view, amend and cancel pages to cancel your booking.

New bookings with

Our top tip to all customers making new bookings is to take up our cancellation protection. This allows you to cancel up to 24 hours in advance of your stay date and you'll be refunded in full, less the cost of the cancellation protection.
