Travel insurance prices can be influenced by various factors, including age, the length of your trip, your medical history, and your destination. When deciding on a policy, consider the following:
• The amount of excess you choose will influence the policy price, but always make sure that you can afford to pay it should you need to make a claim.• An Annual policy may be a consideration if you're planning multiple trips within 12 months (whether in the UK or abroad), and could work out cheaper than getting a new policy each time you travel.• Find a cover level that suits your needs. For example, you may not want to purchase a policy that gives you £5,000 cancellation cover if you only paid £500 for your trip. -
