I had pre-paid and booked via the website but the number-plate recognition did not work at Liverpool John Lennon Airport so I had to press for a ticket to get in which meant a new charge had been generated. However the assistant had it sorted in seconds.

reg number recognition worked but didn't link to our booking. Had to get ticket validated before departure This was quick and efficient but unnecessary hassle at the end of a long journey.

We arrived at the car park to find there were next to none car spaces left. We drove around the car park for some time before finding a space where luggage trolleys had been left. Not impressed.

Car park was excellent the only issue was a change of car index number which had been notified was not updated on the ANPR system but a call to the security office soon rectified the problem

On exiting car park The ticket machine stated that I owed thirty two pounds even though I had paid until the following day, only after providing my booking Ref No was I allowed to depart

Everything was great - the ANPR system worked well and the traffic alert was helpful. As I was a single female traveller returning late into the car park, it was nice to see someone at the gate so I didn't feel nervous about having to walk so far across the car park alone (I was on row 15 in red zone.) The only issue would be that the car park was not lit as well as it might be in some parts
