We were a bit confused when we returned. The barrier didn't open for us automatically,and there was a message on the ticket machinesaying "don't put your card in the machine if you've paid in advance - you'll be charged again"! But as nothing was happening I put the card issued when we arrived into the machine and the gate opened. We haven't been charged again so far!!!!!

Yes, although travelling with a toddler and 2 large suitcases, plus a pushchair and hand luggage, we had great difficulty with being squished onto the bus, would be great to have a small area for families with babies to be able to stand together.

Gatwick south long stay is the nearest car park to us, easy to get to and well organised. Bus transfere is frequent and with the ticket to write down where your car is easy to locate it on return
