The Gatwick Long Stay Car Park isn't available to book through Holiday Extras at the moment. However, if you’re after convenient parking why not take a look at APH Park and Ride? Not only is it a cheaper option but the car park is easy to find and has transfer times of only 10 minutes.

Official Gatwick parking

You could say that the Long Stay is the designer label of Gatwick parking - it's the official on-airport car park at Gatwick's South terminal. And you can see why it'd be up there with the top brands: it's won awards for its security, and transfers to the terminal take just five minutes and they run every 10 - so time will always be on your side. But if our word isn't a big enough endorsement, perhaps you could ask one of the 8,000-plus customers who said they'd book again …

A great budget-friendly choice. Park your car and take the shuttle bus straight to the South Terminal for a hassle-free start to your trip.

Need to know

Drive to the barrier and your number plate will be scanned. The entry barrier will lift automatically and give you a ticket with your booking reference on. Drive in and find a space in the open parking zone - you can keep your keys while you're away.

Catch the included shuttle bus to the terminal. It runs 24 hours a day every 10-12 minutes and takes 7-12 minutes.

When you get back catch the shuttle bus to the car park. Collect your car and drive to the exit barrier which will lift automatically. If it doesn't rise press the intercom button for assistance and give them your reference number.

Accessibility

The car park has easy access wider bays on the left as you drive in. There are also two Blue Badge bays next to each bus stop. These spaces work on a first come, first served basis and you'll need to display your badge while you're away. The car park and shuttle buses are both fully accessible and are DDA compliant.

Security

The car park is Park Mark awarded and secured by:

  • 24-hour patrols
  • Entry and exit barriers with ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) and QR code entry
  • Floodlit perimeter fencing

The small print

Returning to a different terminal? You'll need to make your way back to the terminal you flew from.

Early or late? If you park any longer than booked you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day, which is subject to change.

Help us go green! There's no need to print out your booking confirmation, just show it on your mobile device or even better try out our handy app.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2m barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
