Some staff clearly have better customer relations that others. Limited food on offer. Small portions. Long queues for drinks. No papers or magazines as stated. Disappointed.

Firstly when I paid by credit card online it was charged as a cash transaction on my bill plus a small interest charge which fortunately my bank credited, but should it show as a cash transaction, surely it should be for a service ? Secondly when making the booking I stated that our arrival time would be 09:00 as our flight was at 12:05 meaning we would be boarding around 11:05, however on arrival at the lounge the receptionist told us to return around 10:15 as they were busy and anyway they take the time from the departure time and not the boarding time. As you are offering a 2 hour slot how were we to achieve this based on this ruling ? we would only be getting 1 hour and not 2. My wife &I sat in chairs by the reception for 15 to 20 minutes when the same receptionist asked us what we were waiting for and we explained what she had told us earlier and she then told us we could go in but said the wording on our confirmation was misleading and several other people had said the same thing, so please clarify your position on this. Actually the lady was like a different person as she wasn’t very welcoming when we first arrived. I would only consider to rebook with Holiday Extras and this product again if my questions are answered satisfactorily.

Was told when arrived we could only use lounge 2 hours before flight time, so max stay would be an hour to allow to get to gate and board .. wasn't aware of this at booking, if it mentions it, didn't see so needs to have more of a warning... allowed in to lounge after paying more money

No 1 gatwick airport closes at 17.30 due to covid but HE still took my booking and money for a 18.30 lounge reservation for 6 people. I have not managed to contact them been, 60 and 58 in the queue. I have put in a complaint which advises 7 to 14 day before complaint will be addressed, so totally disappointed for appalling service.

We wasn’t allowed in till 7.50 and flight was boarding at 9.05 so we only had over hour, it said from 7.00am on my booking from u and they told me it is in the small print so I won’t be booking with u again

We arrived at lounge at our booked in time,only to be told that we could not go in until 2 hrs before our departure time and that we would be called to our flight departure desk 1 hour before our departure time . This meant that we would only get 1 hour in lounge not the two hrs we paid for,if we wanted to stay 2 hrs in lounge we would have to pay another £10 per person.The receptionist said that holiday extras had been told about this issue before,and were still miss selling this to there customers. I am a frequent flyer and regularly use lounges around the world ,I won't be using your company to book a lounge in future until this is made clear at time of booking , You need to make it clear at time of booking if you want 2hrs in lounge you need to book 3

No. I’ve already sent a complaint about this lounge. It was awful and disgustingly dirty. Staff were rude. Was over crowded. Wetherspoons served faster and even nicer products. Don’t touch with a barge pole. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Bought a 2 hour special, and even called holiday extras to amend time and check we would have 2 hours in the lounge and not two hours before we took off, but sent away on arrival unless we paid more money even though i had a booking confirmation for the time i arrived, so only received 1 hour and 10 minutes...Food wasnt great, but not bad..drinks were good, but didnt get many as the place was packed, and barstaff were too slow...Such a con to advertise it as a two hour special

Every time I book a lounge it’s cancelled so my experience is zero / o / NIL but there wasn’t a zero. When you take my money and confirm my bookings for lounges you should not be able to cancel. This is poor customer service… Don’t confirm my bookings if you intend to cancel

Not a great experience. Too many people, breakfast only a few items, not a proper cooked breakfast buffet, no toast. Alcohol was very cheap & not a common beer brand.

We refused entry into lounge at the time we booked, the entry time they wanted to give us was our boarding time. We were eventually allowed in, but only managed a short time in the lounge. Very disappointed.

Booked a 2 hr breakfast slot which meant we could not enter until 2hrs before take off. However, started boarding 45 minutes before which significantly reduced our time in the lounge. Lots of people occupying the comfortable seats, could only sit at breakfast tables. Toilets needed cleaning. Not very impressed - standards have certainly slipped.

All food was pre-prepared, the plates were cold, there wasn’t enough comfy chairs. It didn’t compare to Heathrow or Stansted where I had a better experience, very disappointed. I would not book Gatwick again.

I booked the Gatwick Airport lounge but was sent away at arrival because they were closing early. I had to claim my money back because you sold me a service you could deliver. Then I had to wait a week before I received the refund. Very bad experience which could easily have been avoided.
