The lounge was a terrible experience, we only ended up staying for 45mins most of which was spent queuing. When we arrived they were clearing away breakfast and then it took ages before there was any more food, immediately there were huge queues. My husband queued for 20 mins to get us drinks as there only seemed to be one and occasionally two members of staff serving. I queued for 15 mins to get a mediocre selection of food, we then gave up and went to a restaurant in the terminal. Really disappointed, my worst lounge experience ever, especially frustrating as we were travelling with a 2 year old so we wanted a lounge where we could eat and relax before the flight but we didn’t get to relax at all. I want a refund!!!!!

Have used lounge many times however this time it was very poor only one person serving took over 1/2 hour to get a drink by the time had queued up only had time for 2 drinks before had to leave food was poor also lukewarm and once again waited for it to be replenished not worth the price this time not very relaxing spent most of time waiting to be served

When we arrived at the Lounge in Cancun airport, we were refused entry because although we had the e-mail from you confirming our booking, the lounge required some other entry form which had not been sent to us by yourselves. After much discussion and delay we were told that they would allow us entry this time but next time if we didn't have the form we would be denied entry. The lounge seemed quite pleasant and clean. However, the food was sub-standard. I ordered a sandwich and when it arrived it reminded me of the old British Rail version - stale and curling at the edges. My wife ordered Crudities but they didn't arrive at the same time as my food. We had to ask twice for the order. When it arrived, the crudities consisted of a couple of full sized carrots cut in half and two sticks of celery with a very small plastic pre packed tub of Humus. The drinks were fine. We were extremely disappointed with the quality and felt that it was very poor value for money, especially when we compare it to the No1 lounge at Gatwick.

Always use the lounge, so easy and relaxing, food ok, drink selection really good, bit annoying that the library/ quiet room is still not open, have to wait for someone else to leave to get a table, either don’t let so many people in or open other area

We booked the lounge for 4.30 am as you advertisement said it opens at 4.Pam when we arrived at the lounge the lounge did not open till 6.00 am as they were short staffed our flight was at 7.05 am

The lounge was closed when we tried to enter, even though we had pre booked & paid for it. No information was sent to let us know. Having tried to get a refund since we returned from holiday, the process is taking forever. We have now been told it will take a further 30 days to process the refund. Extremely poor service all round

Lounge was advertised as opening at 4.00am but didn’t open until after 6.00am. We paid fifty odd pounds to get in to a canteen style room with little comfort as everything was plastic and not a great choice of food.

Everything went to plan, so easy to use bag drop at Gatwick evening before our flight, easy and helpful meet and greet team and the lounge we booked was great( although don’t arrive early even if you get an email from holiday extras to say you can because they will not let you in)

Booked for 4am, ques for nearly an hour, didn’t open till 5am when our gate was called. Am awaiting a refund. My two two year olds had to go without breakfast and no food on plane. I had to change nappies on the floor in the Que waiting for the lounge to open. Why let us book it for 4am if you don’t open till 5am!

It was busy and staff were replacing food as it was going but unfortunately there was only one young barman behind the bar and there was a constant queue back to the entrance and I felt sorry for the young barman who was coping on his own.

We booked the No. One Lounge North at Gatwick - as we have done previously. Although the staff present were friendly and helpful there were not enough of them present to deal with the number of bookings. The queue for the bar drinks was ridiculous, the empty plates/tables were not cleared away and the food service/replenishment was sadly lacking. It was a very hot lounge and my request to turn on air conditioning was ignored by the young man I spoke to. The layout of the soft drinks section could have been better as they were hidden by the queues for tea/coffee. My wife went to the bar needlessly and queued for 10 minutes. All in all a disappointing visit compared with our previous experience of Gatwick North lounges.

We got to the airport early only to find they had a technical problem so the queues were really long. This was-departures not even security at this point. When we finally got through there was no time for duty free ,we dashed straight to the lounge.The time now was 2-35, our flight was 3-20. Could not believe there was also a queue in there with only one person serving to begin with. While I queued up for the drinks , my friend had to clear a table, because there wasn’t one that wasn’t full of crockery and glasses. So needless to say we were not very happy. We only had time for one quick drink and a quick bite to eat. I was very disappointed, we only had 20 minutes out of our 2 hour slot. I know The technical problem was not your fault. But we were really disappointed with the state of the lounge,and queue for the drinks.Me and my partner always book the lounge and have never had a problem with it. So you can imagine how I felt when I had recommended this to my friend. It was not a very pleasant experience for either of us.

Very dissatisfied with Number 1 lounge, arrived atam to be met with very few clean tables dirty plates etc still uncollected. Que for the bar stretched around the length of the bar due to lack of staff Food was luke warm at best which was not very apetizing

We were delayed in checked in for 2 and half hours . so when we got to the lounge it was a very quick cup of coffee for my husband and myself , there was No food at all no sugar for our coffees, noticed dirty plates and glasses on every table .I do understand that everywhere is short staff but to pay £60 for a lounge just to have a coffee it's the most expensive coffee that we have had , then to see that there was no food we were very disappointed .

We loved using the app to change our booking last minute .. such a breeze. At twilight check I'm at the automotive we realised we had booked the wrong app.. a couple of clicks later we have changed from north to South terminal...all whislt getting the best price and peace of mind
