We arrived and got greeted with a warm welcome and a bright smile. We enjoyed it very much. Was a great start to a fantastic holiday but they ran out of prosecco unfortunately ????.

We arrived 15 mins early as had been quick to get through we were not allowed to enter early which is ok but the member of staff who told us this was not very polite when telling and started saying something else about booking only for exactly 2hrs before you fly which would be ridiculous as then you would be leaving after an hour and e0 to make your way to gate not impressed. I have used the lounge on many occasions but felt let down this time

Currently awaiting a response and a refund from your team. Absolutely awful experience, had to queue for over 50 mins for hot food. Complained to the manager who said it was due to supply issues and they had to source the food elsewhere and were having trouble cooking it. Food was disgusting when it eventually came out and half of it that had been sat there for 50 mins was cold. Ordered 2 drinks at the bar that they didnt have, once again i was told this was down to not receiving deliveries. Totally unaccpetable.

This experience was not a great one for us. They had clearly booked in too many people & they seemed short staffed. The buffet food was not popular dishes & was also cold. Had to wait for plates & then again for cutlery which seemed dirty to touch as though not washed properly. Lounge was so busy, we had to sit in the dining area with plastic chairs & tables. May as well have sat in a restaurant in the main part of airport for better comfort. One bar staff on, so we got one drink the whole time we were in there as my husband had to spend most of the time queueing at the bar. Then my glass felt & smelt dirty. Everything ran out quickly as too many people, but with only 1 very busy & still smiling waitress, we had to wait for everything. There was a very efficient person clearing the empties but took my drink before I’d finished & told me it had nearly gone anyway when I questioned it. The one drink we’d queued ages for! Not worth the money at all, shocking service & unclean. Would not recommend to anyone.

The lounge was chaos. Nowhere to sit. Tables were dirty. Food stations were dirty, plates that were available had food stains on. Hardly any staff, toilets were dirty, fruit flys all around the bar. Would never book again. Completely different experience to same lounge at Stansted which was organised and clean. Seats should be allocated.

Dirty floors, flies around us whilst sitting in the lounge, queue to wait for service at the bar as only 1 person serving, although another person would appear from time to time but he never stayed to help the young lady with reducing the queue at all.

The lounge was dirty, no food, waited ages for drinks and not worth the money. No air conditioning so really warm in there. We booked the No1 lounge as the last two time we have travelled this year we went in the Plaza lounge which I have to say was equally as bad. The food choice was awful with nothing for kids or if any one who didn’t like the style of food served which seems to be the same in both lounges all the time. The longe was dirty with food I’ve the floor, hardly anywhere to sit. I wouldn’t recommend or to be honest bother with the lounge again.

There was a lack of staff and a lack of food. The lounge was dirty and a lot of the furniture was worn. No physical papers or magazines available to read. My family as well as others went elsewhere to purchase food. This was a very disappointing experience.

The No 1 lounge at Gatwick North was a mess. Food area empty, dirty and over run. Complete waste of money and virtually no food suitable for younger kids. 9+12 The staff were working hard but the food was pretty dire. The majority of people were in there to get drunk and the bar was noisy and rammed. Definitely not child or family friendly. I’d love a refund but assume I won’t be getting one.

The staff who spoke with me were very helpful especially so when our flight was changed from Heathrow to Gatwick and there changed the booking did the paperwork/ computer work and we were able to enjoy the start of our holiday stress free .

There was a delay getting into the lounge as there was a slight queue & the receptionist had trouble signing us in. Whilst I appreciate that the lounge was very busy, nobody seemed to be monitoring the hot buffet or indeed the supply of cutlery & glasses etc. I was travelling with a party of 6 & we had to ask for items that had run out to be re- stocked on several occasions. I have used the equivalent lounge in the South terminal & felt that it was managed a little better. Overall we were disappointed with our experience & felt that the charge was not justified with the quality of food etc that we re eived

Book early to avoid disappointment, was very busy. Lovely food, great drinks choice, staff super friendly and helpful. A very relaxing start to the holiday and we’ll worth the money.

The lounge was very busy when we arrived but the queue moved quickly and we managed to find a table. Food and drink selection was pretty good, better than a more expensive lounge I have used previously. We moved to the library area, which was meant to be for over 12’s only. This area was nicely presented but no one was in forcing the age restriction so lots of kids with tablets blaring….that was a shame as it would have been a nice place to relax otherwise.

It was a great peaceful experience compared with the very busy, hustle and bustle of the north terminal, unfortunately the food was not what we had been expecting as advertised.

I have already made a complaint through your app re our experience the service food and cleanliness of plates cups cutlery was terrible. We asked several times re ingredients in the food as my granddaughter has egg allergy and took ages for anyone to advise the chef could not say yes or no to the question. Your app does not give a section to advise anyone has allergies. The range of hot food was poor and there was not really an option for children of which for 18mth old had to pay same price as an adult. One high chair to share between all the other families with toddlers. All but one member of staff looked like they did not want to be there. One older lady did help and manage to get the chef to cook plain pasta but over all the experience for 6 adult 1 baby was not worth what we paid I would like a refund to be truthful . I would use holiday extras again but not for the lounge

The lounge was very untidy and the food very sparse. The hot food containers were empty and despite asking several times they were not refilled. There was no cheese to go with the crackers. There was only one poor lady serving at the bar and the queue was horrendous.

At breakfast there was a large hair in my food which made me feel quite ill as I had eaten some of it,asked to speak to manager to make her aware and was told I couldn’t as she was “too busy”, About 30 mins later a manageress arrived and asked “ what was our problem” I explained and her only repeated reply was “ well none of my staff have long hair “, Very unprofessional, we always use the lounge on our flight but doubt if we would again, We completed an incident report form but have heard nothing from yourselves nor the Lounge Not a great start to our holiday

Pointless purchase - premium security was a scam as we were travelling with children we were able to go left at security and fast track for free, there was no mention of this when booking, just happily took our money. The lounge was a waste of time as they were changing the food over for the full duration we were there, so we were unable to eat anything, took 45 minutes to get a glass of water.

Due to the chaos at Gatwick checkin we only managed to get around 20 minutes in the lounge. Even though we arrived over 3 hours before our flight was due to leave. The lounge was fine, but with current Gatwick check in performance, not worth it.

No we did not have a good experience at this lounge I paid for the 2 hour special and chose No 1 lounge as it was open at 4 am but when We arrived we were told it wasn't opening until 4.30 am due to staff shortages. Our flight was 6 am so we did not get much time to enjoy the facilities and the food was very disappointing and tasteless.

It couldn’t have gone better, we even managed to get into the lounge slightly earlier than expected. As always the lounge is the perfect way to start your holiday. The staff are always friendly and helpful if a little run off their feet. Drinks and food choices were very good.

Too crowded. Not enough staff serving took 20 mibs queing time for 1x drink from the bar. Limited food choice and some of food on the menu was not there. Not great for allergy people. Would be easier to have next to each food rather than having to download an app. Not relaxing and too busy, not enough staff at bar etc. Would have got more value for money outside lounge

It took 20 minutes to get a drink. The tables were left with dirty crockery. The floor was dirty. The whole place needs refurbishing. Worn seating. Needs more staffing at busy times.

The lounge was fine, the cooked breakfast good but we had a 5.30 am flight which went on time so to get any value the lounge had to open on time. It didn’t. It was at least 15 if not 20 mins late. Therefore it was a real rush. Some people in the queue didn’t bother to wait.

Lounge very over crowded, Little or No food available, No crockery or cutlery available, No working Air conditioning, Understaffed- over 20 minute wait in a Queue for a drink. Linited choice of drinks available at Bar. Every table overflowing with dirty crockery & glasses, forced to clear own table and self clean Table surface. Manager sympathetic but unable to resolve the situation to to staff shortages and limited supplies
