I went to the quiet area, was asked to move to accommodate a family of 10 as apparently there wasn't the room in the main area for them. There was.

Plenty of seating, quiet, plenty of food and drink with no wait for it. Friendly staff and used cups plates etc cleared away quickly However very slow wifi

It is stil showing on your website that the No 1 lounge has a Spa/games/table football etc ... The reasons I booked and then had a bad experience and then needed a refund! Very surprised you are will fully continuing to mislead people. I had hope it was a simple mistake and was prepared give you another chance on my next holiday but it seems to be wilful deceit. Disappointing.

Lounge was as expected but seating was limited and it didn't help that lots of tables were reserved so we were not able to sit there (and we did ask). Not sure how this worked as we were not given the opportunity to reserve seating when we booked.

It was extremely loud and busy. There was rubbish strewn over many of the tables where breakfast debris had not been cleared. Service was poor, we had to chase up our breakfast as it had been forgotten. All in all a disappointing experience considering the cost.

Air port lounge was very disorganised, breakfasts going to the wrong tables, and had to wait a long time for food, basically because someone else had been given ours

Very disappointed. Couldn't go into lounge until 10am. Flight details were posted at 10.35. So only managed 30 mins in lounge. Lots of noisy children, people on phones making loud phone call. Struggled to find a seat suitable for me as I was travelling alone. £28 for very stressful half an hour. Wanted a bottle of water was told there was only tap water. Never again!!

Unfortunately, due to an issue with our travel plans on the day, we could not make use of the lounge on the day we booked it for, so I cant comment on quality. We travel a lot but haven't used the lounges before. I don't suppose there is a refund policy for vouchers not redeemed?

No it didn't go smoothly, the service was terrible, we paid more money to get a meal and drinks to start our holiday early, we had no seat because you were to full, no meal because the wait was too long and the wait for a glass or wine and a bear was awful! We ended up getting a meal elsewhere!!last year we went to my lounge, the biggest mistake we made was to change!!! Next year we will go back to my lounge! You really need to look at your service!

Food and drink offer good but service of main dishes quite slow. Too busy, not enough 'circulation space' and furniture uncomfortable. Not the most relaxing way to spend a couple of pre flight hours - sorry

The machine for fizzy drinks was out of order for the Orange flavour, therefore had to use the bar - the person on the bar was very rude and insisted it worked and walked over with me to show me how to use it - only then did he believe it did not work. I had to go back to the bar to ask for coke as the machine didn't disoense it properly, again the same bar man - very rude. I complained about him, went to ask for another drink and he was rude again. I paid for a service, the machine didn't work properly. There is no need to be so rude about it. I didn't expect to be treated like that. I have used many airport lounges, never have I encountered such a rude member of staff.

Excellent service and worthwhile doing. No hustle and bustle, Just a relaxed atmosphere and also had a quiet lounge too, if you wanted to read etc. All staff were pleasant and helpful.

no. 1 lounge is not as good as the Aspire Lounge at the North Terminal. It does not have enough WC facilities and due to building work the entrance is hardto find.ò

Staff were pleasant and constantly tidying up, however, the bar service system needs altering, we waited ages to be served while other people who arrived after us got served quicker, a queue system is definitely needed. My husbands fish sandwich was served cold and left a lot to be desired. The 'bistro' menu didn't seem to work. A more expensive lounge but not worth the extra money.

Lounge was okay but food choices very limited as were the drinks. Not really worth the £50-odd we paid for two beers and two extremely cheaply made fish finger rolls. Not much space in the lounge either and we bought tickets as we wanted a relaxing start to our honeymoon. It wouldn't have been any less relaxing in the main departure lounge.

Yes staff were very helpful. It was a very relaxing way to start a holiday away from the crowds. The food was very enjoyable. We had sufficient. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine. Excellent. We will definitely book Number 1lounge again. Definitely worth the money. Thank you for a great start to our holiday. Mavis & Roy Wise
