Having access to a lounge away from the hustle and bustle of the main airport is a welcome retreat, particularly when you are just about to undertake a long haul flight. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Mr & Mrs Gairns

Gatwick north no.1 lounge. Lots of queues and few staff, nothing for the kids on the snack bar, food ordered too ages to come and was cold. No fresh fruit or veg, no hams or cheeses etc. Couple before us had to leave without even eating. Quality of food was awful, stale bread. Queue at bar was long and no help with drinks , had to ask for a tray.

When we arrived there was very limited seating and we had to sit on stools which as you can imagine that's not ideal for eating, having said that a staff member came over as he could see we was not comfortable and manage to get us a table seat So it a big thumbs up to all the staff , service was very good We use no.1 lounge every time we travel and will recommend it all

I thought the lounge was very pleasant but to have one member of staff on the bar when you know its going to be that busy was a unfair on not only your customers but your poor member of staff that was working her socks off to ensure everyone got served. Also the hot food wasn't exactly brilliant. The fish finger sandwich was very poor.

It was very comfortable and relaxing away from the noise and bustle of the airport. I had a pleasant lunch with a glass of wine and read the daily paper thoughtfully provided. The staff were pleasant and attentive. I would use this lounge again.

We have used the No 1 Lounge a number of times it is a quiet haven in the madness of an international airport I would recommend it in every way it's far preferable to 3 hours enforced retail therapy! Good value for money too. The staff are helpful and attentive.

Everything went smoothly I just didn't feel that the lounge justified the price. It was busy and I saw a few people arrive who couldn't find somewhere to sit. I'd use it again but only if cheaper.

When we arrived the lounge was very busy because there had been some delays due to bad weather. We were treated with the utmost courtesy by staff who found us somewhere to sit. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Having used several of the Gatwick departure lounges, we felt no.1 gatwick north was a bit of a let down. Whilst the staff and service were OK the lounge furnishings are now very dated and tatty -torn fabrics on chairs and badly worn leather sofas. We would certainly think twice before booking this lounge again. The service received from holiday extras was very good as usual and booking procedure very straight forward.

At 4:30am tables were uncleared, we waited mins for a bacon roll, no butter and barely cooked. not much choice of breakfast! We're we too early? We've been to the same lounge several times before but this was the worst experience. Not a good start to our long awaited holiday!

Was not up to our usual lounge expectations we have experienced at Manchester and Heathrow for a similar price. Limited self service buffet and ordering dishes idea (which took a long time to come) does not work. Tables were left uncleared. The lounge was busy and noisy. Would not bother with this one again and spend the money outside in the main airport area.

Staff were great, I hadn't been able to print out my voucher but it wasn't a problem. Great to relax with a prosecco before the flight and calm my nerves...I'm a nervous flyer and the tranquil atmosphere really helped. As did the prosecco of course!
