The hotel was very good, staff were very helpful, next would upgrade room for a bigger room ,but didn't like Stansted airport security checks it took almost 2 hours to get through, we just got to our gate in time as the plane was loading.

Everything was as I expected. No complaints at all. receptioist gave us a complimentary shuttle ticket to the airport because we mentioned that there was a damp smell in our room.

The hotel was ok but in need of redecoration. We were very disappointed with our evening meal. We chose fish & chips from the main menu, when I cut the fish I found it tough to get through and impossible to eat the skin. My husband & I found the flesh of the fish very dry, we therefore asked for replacements, when they arrived they were no better. When the waiter brought the bill he had applied a £10 discount which was welcome, however we feel we should not have paid for the meal at all, this is not the standard we expect at a Hilton Hotel.

When we booked to stay at the Hilton, we believed that a continental breakfast was included and would have not booked, had we not been mislead in this area. Other guests registering at the same time as us had similarly been mislead. We had to pay an additional £10 each for a full English breakfast but felt that we had been conned. I would never have booked any stay in the UK where some sort of breakfast was not included as standard.

excellent hotel, only drawback getting up at 3.45 to get first shuttle bus at 4.15. some of the pilots on the bus even managed a very swift breakfast(which starts at 4.00am.)Could not fault hotel or service.
