The room was double booked and we had other guests trying to get in twice and members of staff coming to the room and telephoned to ask who we were and on our return my car was coned off next to a construction site and completely covered in oil which we both got on our coats. We were given breakfast and £25 from petty cash for emergency cleaning before driving home by the assistant manager and told to email the manager which I did however whilst he politely replied he doesn't admit any responsibility and blamed it on aviation fuel building up over 1 month however we were the only vehicle affected and this was confirmed by a driver/cleaner I spoke to that works for a company operating from the hotel and car park. We have stayed at the stansted Hilton several times before booking through yourselves and FHR before starting to you and never had the problem before or at any other airport hotel. I have photos which I provided and the assistant manager also took some. My car has been washed 3 times now and still has a film over it and requires a chemical wash and then polishing and waxing. We should have been told to park somewhere else when they knew major construction/ refurbishment works were due to start a week after leaving the car. We use park and stay hotels at least twice a year for a month at a time and never had this happen before, I don't consider it "normal build up " as stated by the manager.

Everything great, only thing that was the hotel had shut the swimming pool which was one reason we booked the Hilton. Understand it was not holiday extras fault and they informed us before. I contacted Hilton direct about it but they did not respond. No complaints with holiday extras though and will continue to use

Staff very helpful I thought I had purchased Hotel plus parking for four days but was told this was not what was on my confirmation Hiltgon staff quickly sorted the problem

This is no reflection on yourselves... your website was great and easy to use. Although room booked at Hilton Stansted for/3 two months before booking, they were unable to supply the requested room type (double), with the excuse that it was very busy with people booking at last minute. this was not good enough. they did give us breakfast, but sine we hadn't wanted breakfast anyway that was not much of a compensation.

while my car was parked at the Hilton hotel £2500 of damage was done to it, the Hilton hotel says that the cctv doesn't cover that part of the car park, despite my car being parked close to a camera.

Staff and hotel excellent, only problem we encountered was bus stops at 1am and our flight was diverted to Gatwick so by the time we got to stansted no bus.

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Rooms had all the amenities but a bit tired looking. Spa good but needs spruced up. Ideal for us staying / leaving the car / flying from Stansted. Very convenient and would use again.

Initially we were given a room which had not been cleaned but the matter was rectified straight away and we were given complimentary vouchers for drinks as recompense. Facilities were good and staff great.

Easy parking, friendly & helpful hotel staff, nice comfy room. We had to stay a 2nd night due to flight cancellation but we were moved from nice large room into a smaller one and more costly than holiday extras deal! Dinner for me was not good, although my husband enjoyed his. Would definitely recommend as easy to get to the airport on the shuttle bus.

Great hotel, comfortable room, excellent value for one night stay and 8 days parking. The drinks in the bar were very expensive but other than that we would definitely recommend the hotel for pre-flight stay.

Found the directions to hotel unhelpful, eventually ignoring them and taking our own route. Hotel facilities as described, staff helpful, transfer to terminal v good. Good value. Would use this facility again.

Our stay went very well. Lovely staff greeted us on arrival and were friendly and helpful on our departure. Hotel rooms are lovely. Warm and very comfortable beds. Huge tv on the wall and a good selection of hot drinks, good kettle and mugs. Everything very clean. Our stay was only overnight for a very early flight and we didn't use and facilities (gym), the bar or restaurant.
