I booked the "mystery package" and landed a room at the Holiday Inn, result I thought, the room didn't reflect the reception lobby. Staff were fine, restaurant was fine, had to sign up to some club/points scheme in order to get free wifi, and only 2 channels on the tv which had constant adverts for the hotel club!! Not ideal...I'll stay elsewhere in future.

Apart from going to wrong Holiday Inn initially, perhaps a change of name would be in order ie Holiday Inn Sipson, everything else was brilliant. The hotel was quiet and clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the restaurant was really nice and good value.

We were veryimpressed with the hotel and the facilities. Admirably suited for our needs (overnight stay and free parking for the time we were away inThailand). The food at the hotel was excellent and the staff very good and friendly. We would certainly use it again.

Yes the hotel was good. When we arrived they had no record of our booking through Holiday Extras, but were very helpful in checking us in and said they would sort details out later with the booking agent.

The first room we were give had been used.we were then given an inferior room . The pillows on one bed were so thin that they were useless. As they had a label saying ring reception if you required different pillows we did . It was not easy to get reception . When we eventually did we were told in a very offhand manner that there were no pillows but they would ring back in ten minutes. They didn't ask what sort of pillows we wanted & we explained we were waiting to go to bed after being messed around. A man from housekeeping did arrive with acceptable pillows . The room was not of a good standard,burn marks inside the bathroom door ,no fridge just a loose hanging cable . Not a good start to ou holiday

Was dropped off at wrong branch, but phone call to correct hotel and they sent taxi to pick us up. Comfortable room and usual facilities. Very good buffet evening meal, and friendly dining staff, but watch out for drinks prices.

Everything went smoothly but we did not arrive at hotel until 9.30 pm and had to leave by 5.30 am so it is difficult to judge hotel. It was comfortable and easy to find but a lot further from terminal 5 than I would have wished. My initial request was for a hotel near terminal 5 where we could leave out car at the hotel and it would not be moved. This hotel fulfilled these requirements but the Hoppa buses were not that frequent and took 20 mins to get to trminal 5. Having a early flight it would have been more convenient to have hotel next to terminal 5 where we did not have time factor and cost of Hoppa bus but overall it worked out. Staff at hotel were helpful and friendly.

It was better than expected, everything went smoothly, room was ready on our arrival after a 12 hour flight it was perfect. Very clean and restfull. Staff were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Hotel room was clean comfortable but a little cold and I was unable to adjust the heating. Front Staff were welcoming, very happy and cheerful and also very helpful. Car parking on site a bonus.
