A little bit of extra space can go a long way
If theres one thing all the rooms at the Radisson Blu Stansted have in common, its that they are impressively spacious. Youre sure to be pleased by the extra-large bed and the modern chaise longue. The rooms are arranged around a central, indoor courtyard, so you may have a view of the runway, or a view of the wine tower in the middle of the wine bar.
There are three types of themed rooms at the hotel: Ocean, Urban and Chile, all with different decors. Time has been taken to add little extra features like coloured lights embedded in the headboard, quirkily-shaped mirrors and little cubby holes with slide-out trays of teabags and milk pots.
The range of facilities will impress too. All standard double rooms have a desk and chair, good for a work space or as a dressing table, a small flatscreen TV with freeview channels, a minibar, a small safe, big enough for a laptop or iPad, a trouser press, iron and ironing board, luggage rack and a hair dryer. The beds have bedside tables and a built-in reading lamp on each side. The en suites have a large bath with a shower attachment if you fancy a soak.
No need to splash out, wifi is free
The real bonus is that all guests at the Radisson get free wifi access just by logging on and entering their room number and surname. When you consider that this can cost £15 by itself at other hotels, it makes it worth upgrading.
The Radisson has the standard range of single, double, twin, triple and family rooms. There are also rooms adapted to be accessible to disabled persons.
