Choice of pillows for an extra-good night's sleep
For a low-cost hotel, the Holiday Inn Express' bedrooms are a good size and are equipped with all the essentials you need to get a sound night's sleep. Each room offers the choice of soft or firm pillows, and all are climate controlled.
You will find a kettle as well as Tetley tea bags, sachets of Nescafe coffee and long-life milk in all rooms. There is also a hair dryer, a desk and chair, and an area to hang your clothes. All bathrooms have a powerful shower with wall-mounted body wash and soap dispensers.
As with most hotel rooms, all have a colour television with a small number of satellite channels, plus you can pay for access to the hotel's movie vault if there's nothing on the box that takes your fancy. The hotel has free wifi downstairs, but you can still buy wired access for your room for £5.99 per hour or £11.99 for 24 hours.
The Holiday Inn Express has accessible rooms for disabled guests, and these are a mixture of twins, doubles and connecting rooms. All accessible rooms have a wet room and emergency cords/buttons if you need assistance from the hotel staff.
