Secured parking that's extra close
The Holiday Inn Express is one of the Stansted airport hotels with parking. It has its own on-site car park with 175 spaces, but you can combine your stay with secured parking at the Official Stansted Mid Stay, which is just around the corner from the hotel. The Mid Stay is one of Stansted's official on-airport car parks and is protected by CCTV, 24-hour patrols and fencing.
If you book the Mid Stay park and fly package, you will still need to check in at reception first so you can collect your parking voucher. Once you've checked in at the hotel, it's just a one-minute drive to the Mid Stay to drop off your car. You can catch a free shuttle bus from the car park back to the hotel, which will drop you off at the BP garage opposite. If there's space, however, the hotel will often let you park overnight in its own car park for free.
If you're booking a room-only package and are planning on driving, you can leave your car in the hotel's car park overnight for £8. For any longer, the hotel will charge you £15 per day.
Transfers
The Holiday Inn Express runs its own shuttle bus to the airport every 30 minutes from 4am to 12.30am. The journey takes around five minutes and the transfer costs £3 per person each way. Under 16s travel for free.
Transfers to and from the Mid Stay car park are free and run every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day.

Make your way to the hotel – you'll get directions and a postcode for satnavs on your confirmation if you need them.
If you need overnight parking it costs £12.
Getting from the hotel to the airport
It's a 10-minute journey to the airport on the hotel's own shuttle bus.
The bus runs every 30 minutes from 4am to 1am and costs £4 per person each way. Children under 16 travel free.
