Thyme is on your side
The Heathrow Terminal 5 Premier Inn may not have a selection of themed restaurants, but it does have a great bar serving the kind of down-to-earth food youd find at your local. The Thyme restaurant is nicely decorated and separated off by walls and pillars so you can have an intimate meal with your travelling companions, no matter how busy the restaurant is. Not to mention, to say the prices are reasonable for an airport hotel would be an understatement.
The menu runs the gamut from tasty burgers and freshly prepared pizzas to slow-cooked duck confit and everything in between. We had a generous portion of a tasty chicken-liver pate to start. It was smooth, creamy and packed with lots of flavour. For our main, we had a functional burger with chips and coleslaw - very filling and very tasty, and the meat was of a good quality. The highlight of the meal was the service with the helpful and friendly staff paying particular attention to our needs.
