Enjoy knowing your car's safe
If you need somewhere to park your car while you're on holiday, we've two packages at Mercure London Heathrow which include parking for up to 15 days. You can leave your car either in the hotel car park or the Long Stay car park at terminals 1 and 3.
Leaving your car in the hotel car park is the more convenient option: you just catch the Heathrow Hoppa to the terminal in the morning, and back to the hotel again at the end of your holiday to pick your car up. Part of the car park is under cover - so if you get a space here your car will be out of the rain - and the car park is protected by barriers, CCTV and hourly patrols by members of staff.

Transfers to terminals 2 and 3 are supplied by the car park, however if you need to get to terminals 4 or 5, you'll need to use the Heathrow Express. Mercure Heathrow with Blue Circle Meet & Greet
On the day of your stay
Make your way to the hotel. Directions and a postcode for satnavs will be on your confirmation. Overnight parking at the hotel isn't included in the price - it costs £16.
Getting to the airport from the hotel
When you're 30 minutes away from the airport give the car park a call to let them know you're on your way. Make sure you arrive between 4am and midnight.
Head to the designated Blue Circle desk in the Short Stay car park where friendly chauffeurs will be waiting to take your car. Give them your booking confirmation and car keys, as well as your return flight information.
From there, it's a short walk to the terminal while the driver parks your car in a secured car park.
Coming home
Once you've collected your luggage, call Blue Circle on the number you were given, then make your way to the same place you dropped off your car.
You'll have 15 minutes to exit the car park once your car has been returned to you. Any longer than 15 minutes and you'll need to pay extra when you leave the car park.
Combine with Heathrow Long Stay parking
Long Stay is one of the airport's own car parks, so it's within the airport grounds. There are Long Stay car parks with free 24-hour shuttle buses for terminals 1 and 3, 4 and 5. The shuttle buses can take between seven and 15 minutes, running every 10 to 12 minutes. Like the hotel's own car park, the Long Stay car parks are very well secured: there are frequent patrols, CCTV, entry and exit barriers and a fence.
In both cases, and indeed even if your package doesn't include parking while you're on holiday, parking at the hotel for the night you stay there costs £7, rising to £10 in April 2013.
