A taste of Italy before you fly
Tuck into Italian delights at Carluccio's. From risottos to pastas, meat and fish dishes, there are plenty of tasty dishes to satisfy any appetite. For main we opted for mushroom risotto and sea bass on a bed of leeks and pancetta, with a shared side of green beans with almond shavings which was delicious - I recommend you have it, regardless of your choice of main. For dessert prepare for a battle with yourself - my personal battle was whether to choose tiramisu or chocolate pudding. Chocolate pudding won, just.
If the delicious food, friendly waiting staff and extensive wine list aren’t enough to keep you occupied then the cooking theatre certainly will - the kitchens are open, so you can watch all the food being prepared. You can even enjoy al fresco eating - well, kind of. They have a terrace- style dining area, with Tuscan scenery painted on the walls and potted lemon trees.

Prepare yourself for a feast. You can tuck into fruit and yogurts, cakes and pastries, made-to-order omelettes and waffles, hot and cold meats, eggs any which way you fancy and a huge selection of breads. Wash it all down with unlimited tea, coffee and fruit juice. The friendly staff are happy to help with whatever you need and will keep you topped up on tea and coffee. It’s a real treat to start the day with the morning paper and a delicious breakfast rather than the morning rush hour.
Breakfast is served from 6.00am - 11.00am daily, and is a Full English and continental buffet - you can eat as much as you want! It's £14.95 per person.
