A thoroughly modern Marriott
The Marriott is a thoroughly modern Heathrow airport hotel with thoroughly brilliant customer service to match. With big rooms, even bigger beds, a health club, welcoming bar and restaurant, it's the perfect place to kick-start your holiday.
When you walk into the lobby, you walk into the hub of the hotel. Along with the reception and concierge desk there's a bar, restaurant, a coffee shop, comfortable, contemporary seating areas and even a shop.
Electric cars if you drive an electric vehicle, there's 3 electric car charging points at the Marriott Hotel Heathrow. The charging points are provided by the Other and ZeroNet networks. Find out more here.
Relax in the pool, the bar, the restaurant or the courtyards
Prepare to be greeted by a flurry of welcoming smiles from the hotel's staff, who really cannot do enough for you. The lobby is a great place to chill out, have a drink, surf the web or just watch the world go by.
The hotel has 393 spacious rooms, although it has the feel of a much smaller hotel. There are none of those long corridors that don't seem to lead anywhere, instead it feels warm and intimate.
They say it's not easy being green, but this hotel manages superbly. It's on a green mission. They have charging points for electric cars, have a greenhouse on site so they can grow their own herbs and are always looking at ways of reducing their landfill waste.
We recommend the Marriott Heathrow for:
A good night's sleep -It might sound obvious, that's what you're booking an airport hotel for, right? The extremely comfortable beds, the quiet rooms and the crisp white linens make for the perfect night's sleep. A good night's sleep on the night before your holiday is probably one of the most important night's sleep of the year.
Great food -The food is worth staying in the country for. Whether it's hearty steak house grub or fine italian dining - youre sure to find something that will tickle your tastebuds at the on-site restaurant; Carluccio's.
Friendly service -You'll be treated like royalty. The customer service is second to none, nothing is too much trouble and you won't pass a member of staff without being greeted with a smile.
Dine Italian style at Carluccio's, enjoy a drink at the bar and relax in your large room and comfy bed before you fly.
Getting to the airport
The Heathrow Hoppa shuttle bus runs regularly during the airport's opening hours. Depending on the terminal you're flying from, you may need to catch the Hoppa and then the free Heathrow Express. Hoppa tickets cost £6 per person one way and £11 per person return. Up to two children under 15 can travel free with a paying adult.
Alternatively, a taxi to the airport will cost around £20 for a standard 4-seater car.
There's also a free public bus which stops across the road from the hotel and goes to terminals 2 and 3.
Parking
Overnight parking at the hotel is available if you need it and costs £15 per car. When you arrive at the hotel to check in you'll be asked for your car registration.
This package doesn't include parking while you're away. If you're thinking of bringing your car, you can search for an airport hotel with parking package instead.
