Rooms as comfortable as home

All the bedrooms at the Gatwick Sandman Signature are wonderfully spacious, so there’s plenty of room for all your travel essentials, be they large suitcases or extra family members.

All the rooms come equipped with every facility you would expect from a four-star hotel, from air conditioning and a flatscreen TV with pay-per-view movies to a hairdryer and the usual trouser press. All rooms have cable internet, a fridge, an iron and ironing board, a telephone and all you need to make tea and coffee. There are seven floors with progressively-better views – you could be looking out over the green town of Crawley or towards Gatwick’s runway, so you can watch the planes taking off (though you won’t hear them).

King rooms

The Sandman Signature’s king rooms have plenty of floorspace to spread out in. There’s a bedside table on both sides, a desk with internet connection and two comfy chairs. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, a roomy sink area with a large mirror and an outlet for an electric shaver.

Family rooms

Family rooms have all the same facilities as the double rooms, but instead of the large area of floor space, you’ll find extra beds. There’s a standard-size double bed, plus an extra single with a trundle bed underneath it, rolling out to make another single. Three adults could comfortably share one of these rooms as a triple too.

Other room options

The Sandman Signature also has a number of twin rooms, ideal for two adults sharing. Many rooms also have interconnecting doors, so you could book a double and a twin that link together – perfect for families with older children or groups of adults travelling together. The executive rooms on the first floor make up for the lack of view with a proper desk and chair and slightly more luxurious furnishings.
