Reception staff were not very welcoming or helpfull. waited to long at airport to be collected.one man seems to do everything from reception to driving mini bus and seeing to parking arrangements.

Hotel was fine the only downside for us is the hotel transfer its ok going out but the wait for our return was not acceptable 30/45 minute wait standing out in the cold after an overnight flight + you pay for this upfront. We took a taxi back at an extra cost.

When arriving back at about 8.30pm after a long day travelling we were told that the restaurant and bar was closed as there was a wedding taking place and that room service would only be available until 9pm. We had decided to book an extra night at the hotel so that rather than face a 3 hour journey down the motorway after a tiring day we could relax with a nice meal and a drink before driving home next day. Instead, feeling very stressed and tired by now, we had to go out for something to eat. The hotel did give us complimentary transport to a restaurant but we had to get a taxi back at our own expense! We feel very strongly that we should have been told about this when we booked NOT when we arrived as we would have chosen another hotel. To make matters worse, when we returned to the hotel and tried to freshen up we found there was no heating in the bathroom of our room which was very cold and in our friends room no heating at all! On checking out next morning we complained to the manager who merely shrugged his shoulders and said we should have informed reception the night before as it is 24 hour. Besides the fact that we were very tired and wanted to go to bed I doubt very much whether anyone would have sorted it out at that time of night! He also said that the radiators in the bathrooms were not used anyway! We had used the same hotel prior to our holiday on the 6.2.16 and on that occasion, apart from the fact that they closed the bar at 10pm that night although it is advertised as being open until 11pm, thing were generally satisfactory. We were given rooms on the 2nd floor which were fine but this time we were given rooms 37 & 39 on the ground floor which, besides the heating problems, were very small and did not have full size double beds. We are extremely unhappy with the whole experience I have contacted Holidays Extras with our complaint a week ago and have not yet had a reply!!

The room was okay (a bit cool) and the taxi to and from the airport was efficient but it took nearly 2 hours to get have our meal in the restaurant - and they were not busy

The only problems we had was that the road directions were not very accurate to find the hotel, we had to stop and ask a passerby.

Staff were helpful and hotel was clean and comfortable. Restaurant service was very slow- we had booked an Indian meal but the indian restaurant was closed so we were offered the English alternative. Food was fine, but only two staff for a nearly full restaurant.

Mainly good.Biggest complaint about using transfer to and from airport is that the vehicle used is high off the ground and there is no step available. with an arthritic knee it was nearly impossible to get into the minibus.

Make it clear that the transfer must be booked with the hotel reception. They did not ask when we booked in and it was only when I asked what times the bus left that I was told that the booking had to be made. I thought Holiday extras had already arranged with the hotel.

The hotel was not listed on the information board re where to get the shuttle bus. However I rang the hotel and they quickly came and picked me up.
