Gatwick on-airport hotels

The restaurant at the Gatwick Hilton

Booking a Gatwick on-airport hotel is perfect for those looking to swap an early morning drive to the airport for a few extra hours in bed. Booking one of our Gatwick airport hotels the night before your flight enables you to wake up refreshed and ready to fly. You can even fill up before your flight with a hearty breakfast, then nip across to the terminal in time for check-in.

What is an on-airport Gatwick hotel?

On-airport Gatwick hotels are within the boundary of Gatwick airport, making them very close to the terminal. You may need to catch a transfer bus to get to the terminal in the morning, but it shouldn't take more than five or 10 minutes. Two of our on-site Gatwick hotels are even connected to the airport by a covered walkway.

Why book an on-airport Gatwick hotel?

An early flight is always going to mean a tired start to your holiday, but an extra few hours' sleep will go a long way towards getting your holiday off to a stress-free start. And, whatever time your flight is, booking one of our Gatwick airport hotels means you don't have to worry about getting stuck in traffic on the way to the airport. Best of all, when you book your Gatwick airport hotel with HolidayExtras.com, we can save you up to 40 per cent on the price you'd normally pay.

Gatwick on-airport hotels

A room at the Courtyard by Marriott Gatwick

We've three on-airport Gatwick hotels: the Hilton Gatwick, the Sofitel Gatwick and the Courtyard by Marriott Gatwick. The Hilton and the Sofitel are both 4-star hotels connected to the airport by a covered walkway; the Hilton to the South Terminal, and the Sofitel to the North. The Courtyard by Marriott is a 3-star hotel just three minutes from both terminals on the transfer bus.

All three are among our most popular Gatwick hotels, and not just because of their proximity to the terminal. The names Hilton and Sofitel are synonymous with luxury, and the facilities and service at both are first-class. But the Courtyard by Marriott - with its Mediterranean restaurant and air-conditioned rooms, each with a 26-inch LCD TV - is hot on their heels. It also has the distinction of being Gatwick's newest hotel, only opening in spring 2009.
