We used the pre paid parking although on arrival my registration plate wasn't recognise and we therefore took a ticket. When we returned and inserted ticket there was no problems at all.

Could not get out of car park, kept asking me for my credit card. pressed help but did not recocnise my name or registration number. thought it was reg number sensitive. had this last year as well. not good at 12.30 am with 2 hours to drive home. needs to work better.

The difficulties were my fault at Doncaster/Sheffield in that I checked in at the Long Stay, rather than the Short Stay, so no automatic barriers!! I know better for next time. Otherwise, no issues.

Booked online and everything worked perfectly..... I arrived at the carpark - the machine issued me with a card and in I went. One very minor issue - an announcer in the terminal said that if you have a pre-booked carpark then make sure you have your ticket and 'booking reference' available now - once I inserted my card into the machine the barrier lifted so I had no need for my reference number.

Leaving car park on return of holiday would be easier if you could just put in ticket rather than having to contact staff with booking reference as this caused considerable queuing .

Hello, I'd like to complain about the customer service I received upon leaving the airport on 13th November. Upon landing and pressing the 'help' button to have the barriers raised, I was asked about my booking details over the call. I replied with my name, DOB and reference. My reference couldn't be found on the system, so they sent someone out to talk to me. 5 minutes later and a parking employee came to my car. I showed him my confirmation email, which showed my name, reference number, amount paid and 'arrival''. The employee said that as my 'arrival' was on the 10th November, my ticket was invalid because the current date was the 13th. He called a woman on the intercom and she explained that as my 'arrival' was on the 10th, I would have to pay extra £15 per day on top of what I'd already paid. I was confused, as I knew I'd booked my car park arrival date on the 10th, and car park departure 13th. I explained this to the employee, walking to the pay machine, signing into my online account on the way. He said that's not what the 'arrival' meant. I then showed him evidence on my online account that 'arrival' was 10th for arriving to the car park, and my departure was the 13th, and that the times aligned and my ticket was valid. He told me it wasn't really his problem and that it was out of his control to help me, and to go back into my car and press the 'help' button again on the intercom. My phone battery was also about to die. Doing this, the woman on the phone said I'd changed my story, was very sceptical and to come in to the main building. After calling a phone in the main building, she came down about 5 minutes later. I just about managed to show her the dates and times correctly before my phone died, and she let me out. My complaint really is having better systems which talk to one another, and having people better trained with customer services. I do appreciate that you may have people trying to sneak out the barriers without paying, but I was exhausted after my holiday, battery about to die on my phone and not being believed by staff made for all in all, not the most pleasant experience.
