From the comfort of your neatly made bed, you can get movies on demand and cable on your flatscreen TV. You can pick up the direct-dial phone to catch up with your friends, or you could set up your laptop on the tray table to make the most of the free, high-speed wifi. The internet password can be found on the back of your room key.
Ticking all the boxes, rooms have blackout blinds, tea and coffee, a large desk with lamp and ergonomic chair for maximum comfort, a laptop-sized safe, air conditioning, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. All the rooms at the Hampton by Hilton are en suite, the majority of which have a spacious power shower, although some rooms have a bath. The en suites are contemporary and bright, with stylish fittings and practical touches, such as large tubs of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser, so you’ll be hard pushed to get through the lot.
