Fine food and fine wines
The Gatwick Copthorne is a fantastic hotel for real foodies. You can expect a great dining experience when booking your evening meal in either of their two restaurants, Lion D'Or, or the Brasserie, while the White Swan and Library bar offer easy-eating pub food.
Breakfast
The Brasserie Restaurant
- Breakfast: 6.30am to 10.30am and from 7am at weekends
- Dinner: 7pm to 10pm
Breakfast is served in the Brasserie restaurant, which occasionally opens out into the bright and airy Garden Restaurant during particularly busy periods. It is served from 6.30am to 10.30am every day, with the buffet open until 9.30am. You can choose from a fantastic range of quality food including a hearty full English option of bacon, sausages, eggs any way you like, beans and mushrooms, all cooked to perfection. Or, if you fancy a lighter start to your day, choose the Continental option, from flakey pastries to fresh fruit.
- 6.30pm to 9.45
Lion D'Or
Evening dining
When it comes to your evening meal, you can expect great things. Enjoy a more relaxed dining experience in the Brasserie, with a menu to suit all tastes, or treat yourself to a meal in the Lion DOr fine dining restaurant. You can choose from the a la carte menu or the set menu. The set menu offers three scrumptious courses for £23 - fantastic value for high quality food. If choosing from the set menu, we would recommend the the pan-fried trout fillet with tomato chilli and mussel salsa, sweet potato and parmesan rosti. Its second to none. The food is expertly prepared and presented, using fresh, local ingredients.

The Library Bar
The White Swan
Dining in the day
Elsewhere, you can expect a relaxed meal at any time of the day in the central Library Bar. Found in the centre of the hotel, you can enjoy the age-old feel of the sixteenth century origins of the Copthorne, amid the hubbub of travellers coming and going through the hotel.
The White Swan pub is a gloriously antiquated, low-ceilinged venue that harks back to the days of old, where you can be sure to find a pint of real ale, or just a good glass of wine. The pub is open for food from midday. You can expect the same menu as is served in the Library Bar; a selection of tasty pub grub, served with style.
