The Britannia has 32 bijou rooms on two floors in the converted former staff quarters of the main hotel. The annexe building is very popular with guests and is often full, so booking in advance is a wise idea. All bedrooms are ensuite and have been recently decorated in fresh, clean colours.

Rooms also have comfortable, modern furniture, flatscreen TVs, a hair dryer, trouser press and all you need to make hot drinks. 31 of the rooms are double rooms with a ¾ double bed and there’s also one accessible bedroom on the ground floor for disabled guests. Accommodation at the Britannia Lodge mostly appeals to solo travellers and couples; families are probably better off staying in the main Europa building, which has ample group rooms.

Guests staying at the Britannia Lodge can take advantage of the hotel's pleasant garden and fountains, and wifi in the public areas. Lodge guests can also make use of the excellent gym and health club with swimming, sauna and steam facilities, cardio and resistance equipment.
