2, 3 and 4-star Gatwick hotels

Book Gatwick airport hotels

From low-cost 2-star Gatwick airport hotels to luxurious 4-star hotels, we've something for everyone at Gatwick airport. The 4-star Gatwick hotels have the very best selection of facilities, often featuring swimming pools, multiple restaurants, fitness centres and large conference rooms. Our 3-star Gatwick hotels tend to offer a good range of facilities, usually including a restaurant and business facilities, and combine value and comfort. Our 2-star Gatwick hotels all have en suite bathrooms and are available for unbeatable prices in some great locations.

4-star Gatwick hotels

With recognisable names such as the Hilton, Ramada, Mercure, Holiday Inn, Sofitel and Crowne Plaza, our 4-star Gatwick hotels guarantee quality. The Hilton and Sofitel are directly connected to the South and North Terminals respectively, offering a quick and easy walk to the airport check-in desk. Our 4-star Gatwick hotels feature a multitude of leisure and business facilities. Many hotels, such as the Crowne Plaza and Ramada, have their own swimming pools and gyms. For full details of the facilities on offer at all 14 of our 4-star Gatwick hotels, visit our Gatwick hotels page.

3-star Gatwick hotels

Our range of 3-star Gatwick hotels certainly isn't short of well-known brand names either, with Travelodge, Best Western, Express by Holiday Inn and the Courtyard by Marriott all represented. Our 3-star Gatwick hotel range is also home to family-run and smaller hotels at Gatwick airport, such as the Gatwick Russ Hill and the Gatwick Worth.

Gatwick Ibis

2-star Gatwick hotels

We also have a selection of 2-star Gatwick hotels to choose from: the Gatwick Ibis, Gatwick Acorn Lodge, Gatwick White House and Gatwick Corner House hotel. All are affordable, convenient and close to Gatwick airport. The Acorn Lodge, White House and the Corner House are all small, family-run hotels with their own bars and restaurants. Both tucked away in near Gatwick, they're great choices for an inexpensive 2-star Gatwick hotel stay.

You can be confident that Holiday Extras prices will never be beaten and in the unlikely event you find the same product for less somewhere else, we will match the price, guaranteed. See our Never Beaten on Price offer page for details.

Undercover Hotels

We keep the identity of our Undercover Hotels secret until after you've booked. By doing this we can keep the price much lower than we could otherwise, meaning you'll save money on one of our top-quality 3 or 4-star Gatwick hotels. You won't know the name until after you've booked, but can rest assured you'll be receiving the best in quality and value.

Customer Reviews

Russ Hill Everything was exactly as explained, 3 star hotel, basic but clean and comfortable beds, excellent value for money, dinner and breakfast was Buffett style and good value too.

Hilton Booked 1 night stay Hilton Gatwick South terminal we paid GBP the room was tatty bedding was ripped no sanitary products in the bathroom only 1 towel the chair at the writing table was stained in general the price. Of the room should have been a 2 star low grade hotel ... At around 25 pound per night very very poor
Herr Calzada_Del_Pin (1 out of 5)

Holiday Inn Very clean and high end room amenities.
Comfortable beds and worthy of a 4 star hotel. Well done

Frau Test (5 out of 5)

Europa Hotel ok for 3 star - food good
Only down side difficult to park the car
Not bad value for money

Mr Chiswell (3 out of 5)

Best Western Skylane When we stir to collect the car they did not where it was in car park. The hotel is a bit run down with public toilets not working. Not worth the 3 star rating
Mr Humphries (2 out of 5)

Copthorne Bed was broken: mattress, huge noise from air-con unit , everything in room, carpet etc was shabby, not to the standard of our expectation of a 4 star hotel
Mr Rowson (1 out of 5)

Hilton How this hotel got it's 4 star rating is beyond us. It was dirty. The Artex on the ceiling of our room was falling off. Room looked like it had not been cleaned for days. Facilities were dire for early fliers. The service in the bar areas were abysmal. On leaving for our early flight we noticed that the dirty glasses from the night before were still on the tables. To top it off the coffee shop wasn't open to get a morning coffee. Very surprised that The Hilton group are prepared to have their name associated with this hotel.
Mr Long (1 out of 5)

Hilton Staff and facilities are fine. Location is perfect but tbh it didn't feel like a 4 star hotel and charging for wifi in is a little insulting to be frank.
Mr Dyer (3 out of 5)

Everything went OK, the hotel was nice I wouldn't say it's a 4 star maybe in the 80's it would of been. A lot of refurbishing needs to be done.
Miss Russell (3 out of 5)

Russ Hill It was a typical 3 star hotel. Well kept, clean and tidy. Nice gardens to sit in, and helpful staff. The downside? The restaurant food was awful! Next time I'll get a bar meal.
Mr Bullimore (4 out of 5)

Hilton Staff helpful, but quality of hotel nearer to 3 star than 4, and price of food expensive.
Mr Saunders (2 out of 5)

Good Morning,
I would like to complain about the Copthorne Effingham hotel. Although classed as 4 star it was completely sub standard. The hotel was dirty and shabby. I think it is appalling that you have this hotel on your books and I feel misled to have booked a mystery 4 star hotel that was so vile.
Kind Regards,
Emily Hale

Sofitel Food e pensive but expected with a 4 star hotel, staff very helpful and pleasant
Mr Avory (5 out of 5)

Crowne Plaza Nice 4 star standard
Mr Thompson (5 out of 5)

Airport Inn Poor welcome and ambience Smell of tobacco smoke in the lifts dark and dingy corridors. Over hot rooms no way of cooling. Very expensive drinks and food for what is a 2 star hotel at most.
Mr Meager (1 out of 5)

Booked 4 star airport hotel last minute at excellent price. Will use you again. Thanks.
Mrs Drape (5 out of 5)

Everything was perfect thank you! It was a last minute booking only a couple of hours before & booked the mystery hotel, not knowing which one but the price was very fair just knowing it was 4 star at Gatwick North & all the hotels I'd tried with rooms under £100 on other websites were full. Then by chance I came across Holiday Extras & saw the offer & booked it immediately. The hotel was great, check in was quick & the room was perfect. Would definitely book through again & recommend Holiday Extras! Saved the day for us!!
Ms Milward (5 out of 5)

Hotel was very good for 3 star car parking facilities great
Mr Ward (4 out of 5)

Cambridge Very helpful staff excellent restaurant at the Cambridge Hotel although the accommodation was a bit tied but it is only rated as a 3 star hotel. On the whole very pleased and would book again
Mr Ward (4 out of 5)

Very efficient as always. This time I booked a cheap 3 star undercover hotel, with parking. The hotel was a little tired in appearance but was clean, comfortable and included transfer costs. A bargain.
Mr Smith (5 out of 5)

Courtyard by Marriott Everything went smoothly and the staff were very helpful and pleasant both with the car parking and hotel accommodation. The hotel accommodation I would class nearer to 4 Star than 3 but food and drinks were expensive for a 3 star which makes the overnight stay not quite so economical.
Mrs Mcgonigle (5 out of 5)

Sandman Signature Ramada hotel was disappointing more a 3 star than a 4 star. For example some staff indifferent or sarcastic and door on cupboard in room coming off hinges. Although room booked for two people we only had toiletries and tea/coffee and busicuits for one.
