Easy entry to Prestwick short stay car park and we were allowed to park close to the terminal.On return we had left a window open on the car which security had thankfully taped over. Initially we thought we had been robbed seeing the drivers window like that. Be careful to close the window after getting a ticket. Thanks to Prestwick airport staff. Our exit was perfect with no hold up.

The only little issue was there was a delay in registering the ticket/registration at the exit gate and at first I was asked to pay £90. It did right itself though without me having to go back into the terminal and sort it out as that would have meant holding up the cars behind in the queue!

Everything went smoothly with the carpark booking thanks. The short stay carpark at Prestwick Airport could have been better sign posted and surface smoother, its very rough on your luggage wheels.

Used this facility on a number of times.. Icing up of the car is the only issue over a period of time due to thawing and refreezing especially if parked near the lights

When we tried to leave the car park the ticket cost on the machine was £90. We pressed the help button for 3 minutes but no response. My husband got out and walked to another barrier where the help button worked. They asked for our name and finally 10 minutes later they opened the barrier. My son had the same problem with his car except the help button did work. There must be a better system to explain how to leave when you have paid already???

Girl at terminal desk was very friendly and efficient when issuing my exit pass. Having used this facility before I was aware this was the procedure but no where on your correspondence are you told to visit this desk.

Staff very helpful. Your description of the parking as short stay was different to the signage locally, which was terminal short stay, which caused confusion. For me anyway!

Reinstate cards to exit car park took approximately 10 mins to get out as quite a few cars were trying to exit at same time so the exit lanes became Jammed with cars Having just spent 5 hours on a plane and almost an hour to clear customs etc don't really want to spend another 10 mins to get out the car park Will be really reluctant to use again if current exit method is still in use
