Manchester airport seem to be doing everything they can to make travelling difficult and expensive. For early morning flights there is no public transport and travellers must depend on cars and taxies who are getting penalised by your charges.

I booked car parking and fast track for my April holiday in January, a week before we were due to fly we had to change our car registration- by doing this on the app it also removed the fast track passes we had paid for. When I tried to rebook the fast track it let me add 2 adults then I was unable to add 2 passes for my young children. I used the online chat to ‘speak’ with a customer service advisor who told me that I couldn’t add any more fast track passes as Manchester airport weren’t selling any more and then also informed me that the passes I did have wouldn’t be honoured anyway and I would be refunded later. As I couldn’t get any for my children and thought ours wouldn’t work I cancelled the 2 adult tickets. When I got to the airport however the fast track passes were being accepted and would have saved an hour and a half wait with 2 young children. I feel let down by the app service and then compounded by lack of customer service ability to amend a system error whilst also giving false information.

Although I had to move my booking time twice due to the tour operator moving flights on the third occasion I didn't have internet access to change the booking again. With the flight being delayed again and then delays caused leaving the aeroplane then getting luggage I was late by 2 1/2 hours. I was expecting to get charged but I reached the barrier and it just lifted which was fantastic

Dark, raining and multiple building/roadworks made negotiating the airport difficult. One wrong turn and ended up paying £5 by driving through the drop off lane. Otherwise the parking experience was excellent.

Multi storey T2 West car park Manchester. Such an easy experience. Barrier raised on arrival, found a space (eventually, it was busy), walked into the lift and dropped straight into departures. Couldn’t be easier and didn’t even have to go outside. Return journey was as simple. No problems with exiting the car park and straight out of the new access route out of the airport.

Fine, except that the number of available spaces on each level of the car park is very misleading. For example 26 spaces available - all of these were disabled parking so you look around but cannot find an "able bodied" space. Need better more informed signage.

From the minute it was booked to driving in and leaving, it consisted of an effortless booking it was easy to find on the airport site drove in then out the barrier lifted up with vehicle recognition. Tried to add another day onto the booking however it was ridiculously priced i do feel you should just be able to alter easily with a competitive price.
